Online Radio

I have a new appreciation for online radio sites. As a young adult with a desk job, i've found it necessary to always be listening to music to make my day go by faster. I don't really like the regular radio station websites that stream their live shows. I prefer websites like Pandora and Slacker these 2 websites let you customize what you listen to. This way you are not stuck listening to anything you don't like. You can even ban certain songs or artists as you listen. I am in love with creating stations to my daily mood. I have so many different stations that go with whatever I am feeling at the moment. The station I am completely into this month is a station that I created that only plays music similar to the artist Mat Kearney. He has a very easy going sound and definitely calms me if I ever get stressed or overwhelmed. Other music that appears on this "Mat Kearney Station" are songs by John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Matt Nathenson. It is very convenient that these two websites can be downloaded as applications on an iphone. This convenience opens the door to other uses which may include spring cleaning and gym. I love to use my "Pitbull Station" for the gym. It is a very high energy station. I sometimes can't stop working out until a song is completely over. I believe these online radio websites definitely get me through everyday things much easier. If you ever need inspiration online radio is what I recommend!

I veered away from Pandora because you can only listen to a certain number of hours of music each month. But I adore Grooveshark!

Update-Just found a new online music streaming site I love. It's spotify.com. You can actually pic out the songs and create playlists. I've been using the free version for a few months now. The downside you have to listen from a computer unless you have the premium version.
